  • Send me an e-mail with at least 5 or 6 photographs. It’s important to send good photos - I've written a handy guide about what photos work best for pet portraits, click here to have a look.

  • We'll decide on a size and discuss what you're looking for, then I'll book you a slot in my diary. Payment of 50% of the total cost is due at this stage to secure the commission (with the other 50% due once the portrait is finished).

  • I'll start with lots of sketches, and figure out the best way to compose the final piece. I'll e-mail you two detailed sketches, showing different options, and together we'll decide which will work best.

The finished piece is then painted, and when it's done I'll e-mail you a photo. There's a chance to make small changes if needed. When you are totally happy, the final payment is due & we'll arrange postage, and that's it!

If you'd like to see a more detailed breakdown of how I create my pet portraits, read my blog post about my process (complete with photos!).

There is usually a waiting list of about 4 weeks. If you do need something in a hurry just ask, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you. Orders for Christmas pet portraits should be ordered well in advance (starting from September).

"My friend absolutely loved the painting of Hugo - almost all of us ended up in tears when she got it! I honestly don't think I could have got more of a special gift."
- Victoria

"Fiona gave outstanding service throughout the whole process, she captured the personality of both of my dogs perfectly. I am a big fan of the medium that she uses, and I thought all of my notes and photos would be overwhelming but Fiona took everything in her stride. 10 out of 10 - I can’t thank her enough."
